Who are we hiring?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining detailed financial schedules, managing the revenue recognition processes, and supporting the finance team in the development and maintenance of financial reporting systems. This individual will work closely with senior management, global marketing partnerships team, and accounting to ensure accurate financial insights and reporting.
What will you do?
- Manage financial schedules for deals, including revenue/expense projections and analysis for senior management
- Prepare and maintain financial schedules for individual deals, including detailed revenue and expense projections, as well as a summary analysis for senior management.
- Oversee the revenue recognition process by thoroughly reviewing contracts, P&Ls, and rate cards, and by building detailed revenue recognition schedules to ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards and company policies
- Provide continued financial support post-deal execution, tracking unearned revenue and reconciling fulfillment costs associated with all marketing partnership agreements
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, monthly forecasts, long range plan and monthly business reviews by providing accurate financial information and updating presentations used to communicate financial insights to the CFO and Senior Leadership
- Partner with the accounting team during the monthly closing process to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Assist in identifying and resolving any discrepancies between financial reporting and actual performance
- Provide ongoing support for marketing partnerships, manage internal reports, and optimize the financial planning system
- Provide support in the development & maintenance of our current Marketing Partnership internal management reports, including working closely with the Business Intelligence team on our continued integration efforts with Salesforce
- Maintain, optimize and ensure data integrity of our financial planning system (Hyperion)
- Work on special projects as assigned
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong attention to detail, with an ability to analyze large sets of financial data
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in financial planning systems (e.g. Oracle/Hyperion)
- Ability to work with cross functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and open to learning new ways of working.
- Ability to embrace change with a flexible mindset, even if the way forward isn’t clear.
- Ability to work both independently to trouble shoot and problem solve.
- Ability to be a reliable team member, capable of effective collaboration to achieve our shared goals across teams and departments.
