Who are we hiring?
We are seeking an experienced Sr 3D Generalist to join the Exo Sphere Creative Design Services (CDS) Production team in the development of technology and content for the Exo Sphere. This artist is key creating in helping guide creating efficiencies in the VFX pipeline to create and delivery final content that goes up on Exo Sphere.
An integral part of our Production and Creative team, responsible for the execution of visual content across a gamut of immersive experiences and Ads on Exo Sphere. The ideal candidate is progressive, forward thinking, values design, storytelling, animation, innovation, and enjoys pushing the creative boundaries to visualize the unseen. They work with the Creative Directors, VFX Supervisors, and project leadership to contribute to the execution of large-scale content production, delivering world-class ideas and first-of-its-kind experiences and innovations. This artist will be part of a larger Production team creating final content for the Exo Sphere venue.
What will you do?
- Apply design thinking to solving Exo Sphere-specific content challenges.
- Lead and guide other artists, producing high-level content by using suite of toolsets.
- Work through the lifecycle of the content, advise on where efficiencies can be gained via current and advancing toolsets.
- Stay up-to-date with trends in art, design, and advancing technology.
- Work with supervisors to address notes from clients or creative teams to create content.
- Assist supervisors with creating schedules and timelines for projects.
- Mentor junior artists or other motion graphics artists in current and advancing toolsets.
- Document tools and techniques for departmental reference.
- Collaborate with the team to solve complex challenges and contribute to best practices and workflows from development to compositing.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
What do you need to succeed?
- 5+ years of experience in the VFX, gaming, animation or related industry, with experience in a supervisory role a bonus.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality content for film, television, commercials, VR, or theme park projects.
- Act as a 3D generalist for the MoGraph team Strong understanding of VFX pipelines, workflows, and best practices.
- Expert knowledge in Nuke and Adobe Creative Suite, with adaptability to other software like Houdini, Maya, Cinema4D, Resolve/Fusion, and other 2D/3D digital content creation tools.
- Knowledge of rendering engines such as Redshift.
- Knowledge of Disguise, Notch, and Touch Designer a bonus
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
- Passion for innovation and a commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creative and technical demands.
