Who are we hiring?
The Senior Developer is responsible for the timely completion of systems and programming tasks for complex or business-critical applications. They partner with internal Technology teams and external business clients to accomplish software requirements by developing and maintaining applications and databases. Provide direct technical development and support for all corporate applications. The Senior Developer is responsible for coding, packaging, and delivery of interfaces, inbound and outbound. Managing exchange, transform and load processes and scheduling. Develop technical requirements and specifications for application implementations. Working knowledge with Oracle Financials EBS R12 and Coupa applications. Direct liaison with hosting service partners NaviSite.
What will you do?
- Develops and maintains applications and databases by evaluating client needs; analyzing requirements; developing software systems.
- Responsible for system design, coding, testing, installation, documentation and post-installation audits, all performed in accordance with established standards.
- Performs system maintenance, such as bug fixes, utilizing existing code.
- Interface design, coding, testing, installation and documentation.
- Report requirements, design, coding, testing, installation and documentation.
- Troubleshooting application, report and database performance issues and takes corrective action.
- Confirms program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes.
- Maintains computer systems and programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
- Supports business analysts in the preparation of business and functional requirements, or in the absence of Business Analysts is responsible for preparing business and functional requirements.
- Maintains expertise in the latest state of the art technologies and languages as they pertain to the existing and planned processing environments in use.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What do you need to succeed?
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years systems analysis and programming experience. Experience working within formal methodology for software development is essential.
- Candidate will have working knowledge of Oracle Financial API, integration and concurrent processes.
- Full understanding of project management processes and tasks. Experience in full project lifecycle including all stages of analysis, design, development and implementation of custom applications as well as the deployment of packaged solutions.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication is essential. Practical experience developing project document collateral including but not limited to system design and architecture document, sequence diagram and ERD diagrams.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience designing and understanding logical and physical relational database models.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree – Bachelors of Science in Computer Science
- Master Degree
- Functional knowledge of Oracle E Business Suite R12 (AR,FA,GL,AP).
