Who are we hiring?
Custodians will be responsible for the cleaning and maintaining the Madison Square Garden Arena’s interior and exterior prior to and during events. There are opportunities for both day and night shifts.
What will you do?
- The Custodian will maintain facility standards and assist in general cleaning. Duties included sweeping floors, cleaning spills, dumping garbage, upkeep of restrooms during events and general maintenance of public areas.
- Will be able to handle facility equipment of different size and weights.
- Will receive deliveries and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Candidate will ensure that MSG standards are always met and exceeded.
What do you need to succeed?
- The ideal candidate will have custodial experience at an entertainment venue or large commercial property.
- A high level of energy and commitment with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at a time
- Must possess the ability to work with various operating groups
Special Requirements
- Requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, and changes in shift depending on the needs of the operation.
