Who are we hiring? 

The Analyst, Business Solutions will support in the creation and management of platforms, inventory, and new asset ideation across each of the MSG Entertainment (MSGE) properties and venues, including Radio City Music Hall, Radio City Christmas Spectacular and the Radio City Rockettes, concerts and family shows at Madison Square Garden, The Theater at MSG, the Chicago Theatre and the Beacon Theatre.

The Analyst, Business Solutions will work closely with the Director & Manager - Business Solutions, VP - Marketing Partnership Sales and Property Leads to define the strategic sales plan around each of the properties.  This role will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (including the P&L owners of MSGE’s Live and Productions businesses) to support the creation of partner platforms for prospective partners (new business) and current partners (upsells and renewals) through: ongoing communications, research (identify industry leaders, best practices, emerging technologies), platform development (idea generation, marketing collaboration and proposal construction), rate card creation (pricing/P&L development), internal vetting (Division approvals), creative presentations (write sales deck outlines, collaborate with design team to bring vision to life) and inventory management.  Efforts will be focused on all Entertainment inventory and strategies designed to maximize revenue streams for individual properties and the organization globally.  

What will you do?

  • Support relationships with key stakeholders across the MSG to ensure Business Solutions is aware of all property initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of all MSG properties and assets/rights,
  • Contribute to platform development and creation of all sales materials related to MSGE Properties, taking a lead role in cataloging materials for future use. 
  • Capture and document key meeting discussions, decisions, and action items to ensure accurate and timely records throughout the partnership development process from brainstorm through account management transition.
  • Liaise with sales and account management to understand partner/prospect needs/objectives to provide accurate summaries in order to create new/customized integrated and compelling platforms. 
  • Proactively identify new assets and build creative turnkey platforms to generate new revenue opportunities.
  • Consistent management and contributions to rate card, pricing and P&L development via strong organizational skills and reporting.
  • Together with Sales Coordinators, manage sales materials from upfronts and evergreens to full decks and compressed 1-pagers.
  • Help manage available inventory, track sold inventory, deadlines, property assets, designations and promotional rights.
  • Collaborate with account management to develop case studies across properties and industries.
  • Participate in sales presentations, as needed.   

What do you need to succeed?

  • Education: BA/BS Degree required
  • 1-3 years’ experience in strategic marketing/partnership sales roles; a strong candidate for the role should have knowledge of the marketing and advertising industries with a particular focus on the music, theater, productions and overall entertainment industry
  • Passion for the music and entertainment space, maintaining knowledge of trends
  • Demonstrated exceptional project management skills to drive the process with the ability to create partnerships (vet and price, develop P&L and execute platforms); create sales material outlines, and develop strategy
  • This position requires a strategic thinker with strong writing, organizational, analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to simultaneously understand Divisional and Client objectives 
  • Demonstrated experience and success working with a broad cross section of functional teams.  Operates with a high level of professionalism across all settings. 
  • Strong work ethic with ability to function independently while managing upwards to keep supervisor informed 
  • Proven ability to excel while multitasking in fast paced environment 
  • Excellent time management with ability to plan, organize and prioritize work to deliver exceptional work while hitting deadlines 
  • Strong creative and innovative mindset with analytical skills 
  • Highly detail-oriented and solutions-focused approach 

 

Pay Range
$65,000$95,000 USD
