Who are we hiring?
As a Student Associate you will have the opportunity to work with the Athletic Training Program to support the health & wellness of the performers. Athletic training coverage will resemble most traditional sports coverage yet adapted to support the specialized needs of the performers in the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Rockettes. It will include work with performers during the pre-season and in-season run of the production. This role is for individuals who are interested in gaining experience in a performing arts athletic training setting.
What will you do?
- Assist with the treatment & care of performers injuries.
- Assist with the administrative duties of the department to include, injury data management, workers’ compensation, inputting medical data into EMR system & ordering & organizing seasonal athletic training supplies.
- Assist with creation of individualized conditioning & treatment programs for performers.
- Participate in interdepartmental meetings & planning for upcoming PR appearances, events, and performances.
- Shadow the athletic trainers during coverage for Rockette events.
What do you need to succeed?
- Enrollment in an accredited athletic training program.
- NATABOC Certification preferred.
- High level of professionalism especially related to confidentiality.
- Excellent organization skills & attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume athletic training room environment.
Student Associate Requirements
- Must be available to work 21-35 hours/week (3 - 5 business days).
- Must be available to work part-time or full-time from October 2025 - April 2026.
- Must be enrolled as junior, senior, or graduate student for Fall 2025.
- Must have a GPA of 3.2 or above.
