Who are we hiring?
The Senior Manager of Technology Operations is tasked with executing the network operations for MSGE’s East Coast and Chicago facilities and venues. In this role, the Senior Manager leads a diverse team of Network Operations Engineers to operate and maintain all corporate network infrastructure and coordinate network support to venue operations and artist productions.
What will you do?
- Lead the technical team responsible for Network Operations in Madison Square Garden and the Theater at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, The Beacon Theater, The Chicago Theater, and all New York Corporate facilities.
- Establish work/shift schedules for subordinate Network Operations Engineers.
- Ensure network diagram currency, maintain accurate Corporate IT and Venue Technology system diagrams.
- Collaborate and align with the Venue leadership to define support requirements for venue operations and artist productions
- Collaborate with the artist productions to integrate their systems.
- Collaborate and align with the Network Architects, MSGE’s West Coast Network Operations personnel, and other Technology leaders to improve how Network Operations provides support.
- Motivate, train and develop subordinate Engineers.
- Participate in all incident management calls involving East Coast networks and services.

- Lead a team of 3-4 Senior - Junior Network Operations Engineers.
What do you need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and/or a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in a technology-related role of comparable size and scope.
- 7+ years of delivering technology solutions at an orgaination of similar scale and operational tempo as MSGE.
- 7+ years in hands-on technical engineering and network management experience.
- 3+ years experience leading teams.
- Work history that provides evidence of strong technical, analytical, interpersonal, and influencing skills is required.
- Experience with media companies and broadcasting a plus.
- Experience operating in a matrixed organization a plus.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Flexible work availability to include nights, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business.
- Frequent travel to venues/facilities within MSGE’s New York and Chicago Corporate footprint.
